The project “Social Entrepreneurship: the European Union Experience and Practices” (SEEUNI) is aimed to transfer recent European knowledge and practices of social entrepreneurship to the Russian Federation (particularly to the Omsk region) by means of new master and postgraduate courses and other activities. We think that the transfer of knowledge on European integration processes and their role in the development of Social Entrepreneurship as well as knowledge on European institutions, business models and practices of social entrepreneurship will have positive effects on Russian entrepreneurship and higher education.
The main project activities:
• The development and implementation of the new courses for Master students “Social Entrepreneurship: the European Union Experience and Practices” and “Project Management for Social Entrepreneurship: the European Union Experience and Standards”.
• The development and implementation of the new distance learning course for Postgraduate Students “Introduction to Social Entrepreneurship: the European Union Standards and Practices”.
• The development of teaching and learning materials: two textbooks; syllabi; sets of slides; 12 video lectures.
• Development of the research projects “Innovative Social Entrepreneurship in the EU” and “European Project Management for Excellence in the Field of Social Entrepreneurship”.
• Presenting research results at the International Conference on Social Responsibility, Ethics and Sustainable Business and the International Business Information Management Association (IBIMA) Conference.
• Writing and publishing 4 peer-reviewed articles with focus on Innovative Social Entrepreneurship in the EU and European Project Management.
• Study visit “Social entrepreneurship and Management” at Yunus Social Business Centre University of Florence and Social Business Lab Pistoia (Italy).
• Organizing the roundtable debate, webinar and Open Air Festival “Russian and European Social Entrepreneurship” for the online and offline dissemination of the project results.
