According to the order of the government of Russian Federation No. 2989-р of December 28, 2018
It is planned to hold an international conference "Dostoevsky through the Ages and Generations" devoted to the 200th anniversary of F.M. Dostoevsky at Dostoevsky Omsk State University (OmSU) on November 11-14, 2021.
We invite specialists in literature, linguists, historians, ethnographers, art specialists, culture experts and representatives of other sciences to participate.
The purpose of the conference is to study the heritage of F.M. Dostoevsky.
We plan the work of the following sections:
1. Fyodor Dostoevsky and his legacy in the world and Russian culture.
2. Dostoevsky in religious and philosophical thought.
3. Dostoevsky's poetics (narration, genre, style).
4. Unknown pages of the life and work of Fyodor Dostoevsky.
5. Dostoevsky and "the soul of the city". The phenomenon of the Siberian space in the life and work of the writer.
6. Dostoevsky in the educational paradigm.
7. Dostoevsky and Russian linguistic consciousness.
8. "The Diary of a Writer" as a literary and philosophical phenomenon.
9. Dostoevsky and fine arts. The writer as an art critic.
10. Dostoevsky: a view from the future (the youth discussion platform).
Applications in Russian for the participation in the conference will be accepted until September 1, 2021 by e-mail fmdostocentr@yandex.ru (with the topic "Достоевский в смене эпох и поколений") with the following data: full name (surname, name and middle/patronymic name), place of work/study, position, academic title, academic degree; the topic of the report, its theses; contact telephone numbers (including mobile), e-mail and postal address; the need for the technical equipment (screen projector, laptop); the place in the hotel or at the dormitory (see Annex 1 of the Information letter).
Applications in English will be accepted until September 1, 2021 by e-mail omp.omsu@mail.ru (with the topic "Dostoevsky through the Ages and Generations").
The application must include theses for publication of the collection of conference materials. The organizing committee reserves the right to select applications without explaining the reasons for their rejections. The conference program will be formed on the basis of selected applications and posted on the website of Dostoevsky Omsk State University until September 29, 2021. As a result of the conference, electronic and paper collections of participants' publications will be published. Articles can be submitted in collections before the conference. All collection materials will be indexed in the RSCI and posted in the scientific electronic library www.elibrary.ru.
It is planned to organize a cultural program for the guests of the conference.
