Using the opportunity offered to me by the International Relations Office of our University, I took part in the Erasmus+ ICM Programme in Portugal. I gave lectures for the students at the Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Aveiro. I gave lectures on the same Pattern Recognition course that I teach at Dostoevsky Omsk State University. Besides the 8-hour teaching for students, I made a report for the staff on the seminar at the Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Aveiro. My report was entitled as "Interval Methods of Solution of Pattern Recognition Problems". After that I had four days for my journeys to Coimbra with its one of the world's oldest university, Porto and Lisbon. All of them were spectacular. I liked the city of Aveiro very much too. My visit to the University of Aveiro was accomplished with the support offered by the International Relations Office of our University. Thanks to IRO staff I prepared all the necessary documents. In Portugal Ms Tatiana Chemisova, coordiantor of the Erasmus+ Programme at the Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Aveiro, helped me a lot with all my questions. I'm very grateful to her.
