Lectures under the Erasmus+ Programme at the Faculty of History, 21-22.03.2018 Under the Cooperation Agreement between the Dostoevsky Omsk State University and Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (Poland) for the first time, there was an exchange of didactic and scientific experiences organized according to the rules of the Erasmus+ Program (KA 107). Parties partner in this exchange are the Faculty of History at Dostoevsky Omsk State University and the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. On March 21 and 22 2018, the students of the third year of Bachelor studies with the profile of "International Relations" participated in lectures with the elements of a seminar conducted by a political scientist who came from the Nicolaus Copernicus University. Two of them were dedicated to the evolution of the classical doctrine of Eurasianism and the ways of using its base of thought in contemporary Russian programs and political initiatives. The aim of the next two lectures was to explain the basic concepts of the theory and philosophy of politics and present the possibilities of using them in political science research. All lectures were conducted in the problem key, not in the historical one, allowing for the free, full of digressions, interesting for both: students and lecturer dialogue. The students showed a great interest in the issues raised and asked many important questions about the most current political and cultural phenomena. After the lecture, they asked for bibliographic recommendations, allowing them to deepen their knowledge on the topics discussed. The exchange of views and different ways of thinking took place in a friendly, mutual trust and a relaxed atmosphere. Didactic work with Russian students gave me a lot of pleasure and satisfaction. The same can be said about official and unofficial meetings with the Dean and employees of the Faculty of History and the international Relations Office. This cooperation between the Faculties is very promising, and my circle of friends in Omsk has grown, which makes me very happy. Dr hab. Iwona Massaka, prof. UMK |
