Theatre of dance “нОга (lEg)” art director – laureate of International competitions, senior lecturer Olga Gorobchuk
Each performance is not only the range of dance performances, but the plot, message to the audience and well-thought story in contemporary genre. Yes, their stories don’t have words. Yes, the performance can last for just a half an hour. But despite the time length of performance the impact is the same – audience feel the completeness and saturation with the ‘information’. In 2016 Theatre of dance “нОга” was nominated for National Theatre Award “The Golden Mask”. Instead of words they use the light in performances. It is very difficult to create the harmonic and self-sufficient performance design for theatre of plastic dance. It is necessary to draw attention to the shadow figures, to deepen the visual effects and to create the story. The art director Olga Gorobchuk perfectly deals with those challenges. |
