Dostoevsky Omsk State University hosted two schools of Russian Language and Culture in July and August.
Students came fr om all over the world: Chile, Spain, Germany, China, Cyprus, Holland, USA, Austria, Slovakia, Serbia, France, Turkey, Georgia, and Italy.
Every year the interest in studying Russian increases, and more and more people are not afraid to come to Siberia for complete immersion in the language and cultural environment.
The organizers of the schools tried to create an appropriate programme, wh ere educational and cultural elements were harmoniously combined.
Students studied Russian not only at classes, but also communicated with native speakers, visited industrial enterprises, museums, and various cultural events, including the celebration of the city's day, the medieval festival and the opening of the hockey season.
Many students expressed their wishes to participate in the summer school next year as well!
